DFE - Internally Bypassed Soft Starter

The DFE is Fairford's internally bypassed, non-optimising Soft Starter which is perfect for panel builders and end users alike. To the user it offers competitive pricing, soft stopping and the removal of high transient currents.

To the panel builder it can easily substitute a Star/Delta starter because it fits into a similar footprint thus simplifying installation.

MFE - 2 Phase 3 Wire In 3 Wire Out Soft Starter

Fairford's fully digital non-energy optimising MFE Soft Starters are the simplest and most economic way of starting your three phase induction motors.

They have automatic set-up features selectable by changing a 10 way application profile selector switch.

The MFE offers easy-to-use technology suitable for a wide variety of applications and is available in IP-20 and IP-43. IP-43 is ideal for retrofit and 'splashproof' applications such as food manufacturing or where you have an existing DOL starter or an existing Star/Delta starter to replace.

XFE - Energy Optimising Soft Starter

The XFE Soft Starter is the choice where cost is an issue or if you need lighter start duty capability and overload protection than the QFE.

HFE - Single Phase Energy Optimising Soft Starter

This is the ideal 'retrofit' energy optimising solution for Soft Starting single phase compressors such as those used in Supermarket refrigerators and chillers etc., and can yield between 10 -18% energy savings. It has a rugged tin lid construction and can be mounted easily next to the machine or control panel. Installation of the unit is quick and simple due to the 'two wires in, two wires out' design. The unit is 'fit and forget' is there is no maintenance for the user.
